Master Sang Ho Han

Master Sang Ho Han is one of the youngest and most recognized sparring trainers in the Washington area.  He has been actively studying Tae Kwon Do for 39 years, and has earned a seventh-degree black belt from the World Tae Kwon Do Federation (WTF).  After majoring in Tae Kwon Do in college, Master Han graduated from the Tae Kwon Do Instructor’s Academy (1991) and Inchon Physical Education College (1992).  During his training in Korea, Master Han perfected and displayed his techniques as a member of the Korean National Tae Kwon Do Demonstration Team (1976-1979 and 1986-1987).  His sparring skills were repeatedly recognized nationally: Master Han was the Korean National Champion in sparring five times (1976, 1977, 1978, 1986, and 1987).

Master Han has been teaching Tae Kwon Do for 23 years and has been training students in the U.S. for 18 years.  He has applied his demonstration, sparring, and coaching skills widely—in addition to training and coaching students for local demonstrations and regional tournaments, Master Han was the Washington State Tae Kwon Do Team coach for the 1994 U.S. National Tae Kwon Do Championships held in Atlanta, Georgia.  He had the added distinction of being the Japan National Tae Kwon Do Team coach for the 1994 and 1995 U.S. Open Tournaments in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
